Own a fascinating piece of economic history with this vintage duo of 1945 10,000 Pengő banknotes, matching from the coveted "L" production series and highlighted by a rare, repeating "Repeater" serial number (047047) on the leading note. The obverse features an elegant profile portrait of a woman paired with a vertical "MNB" emergency tax stamp, marking a desperate post-WWII strategy implemented before the currency hyperinflated into oblivion. Having both banknotes matching from the same L-series run—combined with a highly collectible repeating serial number pattern—makes this cohesive pair an exceptional acquisition for numismatists.
